Our vineyard, in Chémery (41) near Romoratin

The vineyard is located in Chémery (41) in the Loir-et-Cher, near the Châteaux de Cheverny and Chambord. The vineyard covers an area of 30 hectares in AOC Touraine, Touraine Oisly, IGP Val de Loire and Crémant de Loire.

The vineyard is divided into three parts:

part under conventional farming methods
4 hectares of organic farming
4 hectares in the process of conversion to organic farming

Raphaël Midoir represents the fifth-generation of winemakers. In 1997, he took over his family's estate, located in the heart of the Sologne wine region. Between authenticity and modernity, he shares his passion and will introduce you to the multiple facets of wines during a visit and tasting at the vineyard.

Raphaël guarantees you products that are developed and/or selected with deep respect for the terroir.

Each of my his wines has unique characteristics that I Raphaël invites you to discover by tasting them. Their common denominator is that they all invite to conviviality and sharing.

"WINE REFLECTING A WINEMAKER" is my slogan.

The vines, aged are 5 to 50 years old, they are planted in clay subsoil and siliceous soil with flint 21 hectares are planted with white varietals and 9 hectares are planted with red varietals. The climate is temperate with very little water.

Raphaël Midoir’s vineyard, located in Loir-et-Cher (41) near Romorantin, benefits from the "High Environmental Value Farming" certification, which means that actions to preserve and develop biodiversity on the estate are implemented.

We care about development and preservation of resting and living areas for wildlife and flora.

We work on protection of crops, management of manure and water resources preserving a natural balance within and around the plots.

The philosophy of the vineyard is simple: to let nature express itself as much as possible, to observe and respect our terroirs.
